Horseshoe Lake Property Owners Association (HLPOA)

Wondering About Water Levels? There's a video for that! The HLPOA is a member of the Coalition for Equitable Water Flow (CEWF). CEWF is a local volunteer organization that works with the Trent Severn Waterway (TSW) in representing owners of property on the reservoir system. CEWF has created two excellent videos and a worksheet to help you better understand how the reservoir system works and how to prepare for extreme water levels. You can access the videos by clicking here: CEWF Videos

And just a reminder, you can subscribe to e-lerts about key water level news by signing up on the CEWF website here: CEWF Website

Current, including historical High, Low and Average water levels for Horseshoe Lake can be found here:  Horseshoe Lake Water Levels

HLPOA participates in the Coalition for Equitable Water Flow.  Bill Cornfield is our representative. This document contains their 2023 priorities.         2023 CEWF Priorities final.pdf

(HLPOA)

The HLPOA acknowledge the lands and waters on which we meet, are the traditional homelands of the First Nation, Métis and Inuit peoples. Our beautiful lakes are fed from the north and flow to the south. We therefore acknowledge the Algonquin and Mississauga peoples as well as the governance of the Williams Treaties. We wish to express gratitude to Mother Earth, the resources we are using, and honour all Indigenous people who have been and continue to live on these lands.

Horseshoe Lake Property Owners association is committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion in which every member, their family and friends are treated with respect and dignity.
