- Largest Panfish (Rock Bass, Sunfish & Perch or Crappie)
Each entrant can only win one 1st, 2nd or 3rd place prize.
All registered kids will be entered into a grand prize draw.
How To Enter Your Catch
Bass, Walleye and Panfish will be weighed. Bring the fish alive to be weighed at the derby headquarters. You may weigh in at any time, release the fish and then go back out and try to get a bigger one! If you do not have a live well, carefully put the live fish in a cooler with fresh lake water and bring it to be weighed. Please take very special care to keep your catch alive so it can be released after weigh in.
Pike and Muskie will be determined by length. Please take a picture of the Pike or Muskie with a tape measure showing the length and release the fish.
There will be a weigh in featuring a prize for every entrant plus a hotdog and drink. Plus we have some great prizes for largest fish in each category.
We are very excited that Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests Conservation Officer Jennifer Conlin will be on hand to make a presentation to all entrants during our weigh in and prize ceremony. C.O. Conlin will talk to entrants about fishing seasons, size limits and best practices for catch & release.
Please register so we know how many hotdogs and drinks to have on hand!!
We have some parking for cars at 1240 and 1248 Reynolds and we can handle some boats pulled up on the beach during the weigh in and prize ceremony.
We are still looking for prizes. Call Rocky at 905-442-0040 if you are able to help out with prizes.
See you on the water!!
Have a great time!!
